WHAT WILL I LEARN?

This intensive wet shave course will teach you everything you need to know to be able to add a full cut throat shave to your services and repertoire.


You will learn a 14 - step formula used over two decades by one of our Jax School Of Barbering tutors, that keeps the timing to a minimum but also produces the cleanest of shaves.

1-1 course with tutor Steven Etherington

This course will be constructed over one day and will leave you with enough skillset and knowledge to be able to take back to your salon and stand out from the rest.

Once you pass your course, you will be given a Jax Barbershop Advanced Skills certificate.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

You will need to bring a model willing to have a shave and also your full barbering kit including a cut-throat razor for the line-up.

Items / Equiptment you will be required to bring with you: Shave bowls, Shave brush, Straight razor, Razor (blades) & one Gown

Where will the course be held?

At our Jax Academy HQ at 80 Street Lane, Roundhay , LS8 2AL.

How many spaces are available per course?

4 Spaces are available per course.

Will I be able to do the course if I have never cut hair before?

Yes! we have a lot of complete beginners attend our courses.

What if I struggle to get a model?

We can help by advertising on our Instagram, however its always better to cut someone that you know whilst learning. We can always offer manakin heads too but its extremely important to try your best to get a model.

Do you offer refunds if I can no longer attend that date.

We do not offer refunds, however we can accommodate by changing your chosen course date (we will not be able to do this once your course has started).

I can't afford all the money at once what can I do?

We advise applying for PayPal credit- they offer 0% interest free credit for 4 months. We can also look at splitting the payment into more manageable chunks but the whole balance must be paid before you can start.
